Resources and Activities in our Final Project

Before starting with the presentation of the 9-th week assignment I would like to wish you

To refine our project by using multimedia we had also to use different activities that will help us in our teaching process.Me and my colleague wanted to use different forms to present our activities to our students. To make the lesson attractive we have chosen an interesting video that will test different skills that they possess. We find exercises very helpful because teachers need them to understand if their students have been attentive. Activities are a good way in engaging our students because they will think all the time how to solve the exercises.Furthermore, the teacher should know the level of the learners in order to select the exercises. Technology gives you a lot of opportunities to activate the class and to make use of different games. The more activities you use the more you will know about your students skills. Activities develop also the critical thinking because they want to solve correctly all types of exercises. The whole class tends to participate and actively engage in different exercises that the teacher might have created for them. The most important thing relies upon the student if they find the activities enjoyable and rewarding for their learning process.

How do media elements influence our teaching? Which are some of the problems that teachers are facing in the real classrooms?

Hello Again 
As every Monday, I am sharing my opinion and discussing about the assignment for this week.We have to treat another issue related with our final project. The media elements that we will use in our traditional classrooms and also the problems that teachers face in their classrooms. The most important part of our project is technology; How will technology help us in teaching and learning? To use multimedia effectively in our classrooms we should know what our students need to learn.In fact,my topic has become more interesting by using different technological tools and I have used an incredible online application Emaze. Me and my partner could create different things to explain our lesson in a variety of ways. As I mentioned it in our dropbox account teachers encounter countless of problems in their classes but it is important to know the way how to manage these problems. Sometimes we hear that teachers has problems with the bad behaviour and the disrespect that students show in the class environment. Motivation is the key where to find the answer for all the problems that teachers encounter in different schools.Students are not motivated to learn, in this way they are distracted by doing other things excluding lesson.

The ESL Skills

Here we are again by completing the 7-th week assignment by determining the ESL skills for our learners.I have chosen to teach the grammar skills since it is important for them and they need to use it in different dimensions of the English language. I think that our topic will help them a lot in distinguishing the difference between countable and uncountable nouns. Sometimes they encounter difficulties in this part of grammar since English has a large lexicon and many confusing nouns.They need all the 21-st skills such as reading, speaking. writing and listening but they won't be able to put them in use without knowing the grammar rules. The first step to accomplish our project

The assignment for this week will help us to take the first step to create our final project.I have started by setting the goals and a brief description of my future class. My topic will be Countable and Uncountable nouns where my pupils will learn a lot about different nouns in English. I would rather explain to them the importance of Countable and Uncountable nouns by showing pictures of fruits or materials that they find difficult to distinguish their singularity and plurality.In order to be comprehensive we should emphasize the fact that there are some nouns that need a quantifier for example A few,some, several,much etc

Exploring WebQuest

Hope you have done this week assignment as I think it was a little bit difficult and tough.We had to explore the webquest in order to find material for our final project.In my opinion, it is something interesting once you find yourself registered and having your own WebQuest. As I subscribed everything was too easy and you wanted to add more and more stuffs to the webpage.It allows you to explore in a guided and meaningful manner through the world of Internet.It looks alike a well planned lesson designed in a careful manner for the creative and innovative teachers.There are some benefits by using the Webquest because the amount of information that you want your students to know it is presented in a short and descriptive way. WebQuests are designed to use learners time well, to focus on using information rather than looking for it, and to support learners thinking at the level of analysis.To sum up,exploring the webquest helps you to be creative and you will be able to use it for your final project.
