Project-Based Learning

Hello! Hope you are having a good day ;-)
This new post is about the Project Based Learning how will we implement it in our classrooms.Being honestly as I read about the Project-Based learning I discovered that it has more drawbacks than advantages for us the new teachers. One of the reasons is that, Anywayl find it overwhelming and difficult to put it into practice.Another reason is that it focuses on in-depth investigations while constructing personally meaningful artifacts. This may be uncomfortable for students and teachers.Even though PBL it is based on the constructivist findings where students actively construct their understanding about the lesson. Moreover, gives students the opportunity to engage in real and meaningful problems that are important and helpful to them. PBL is an innovative approach to learning and it places the student in the center of the lesson. In addition to that we have also the cooperative learning implemented during their knowledge construction. Anyway the project-based learning has many benefits for the learners and we should do everything to help them.
See you at the next post :-D

ABCD Model for writing lesson objectives

Hello Friends!
Hope you have had a nice weekend and enjoyed the new experience with the blog.I am talking about the ABCD model for writing our lesson objectives and creating some useful exercises. I found it very interesting because it was easy to remember and to be put into practice from the initial letters of each word.To have a successful lesson all teachers should accomplish their objectives, what they want their students to achieve.Based on our objectives the students learn new skills and cooperate more with each other to achieve the goal of learning. An objective must have some criteria in order to fulfill the idea of having an organized lesson. Furthermore,I think that a lesson without objectives is like a blank page without words where you can't read anything.
See you in class :-D

Cooperative Learning

Hi Classmates!
I just watched the videos of Cooperative Learning or we can say The Kagan Structures. It is a revolutionary idea of Prof.Spencer by putting the students working together without prejudices about their race, origin and religion. The most important thing is that the teacher is there to teach and the learner to learn. They are not sat in rows as we usually see in our traditional classes but work and help each other in groups. The teacher gives them permission to stand up and share their work with their classmates. It is time to use this method in order in help the new generation to develop their ways of learning. The future of teaching is in our hands and we must try to get the best of this new method.
Have a nice day :)

The protagonists in the teaching process The Teacher and the Learner. What can they both do to help each other? What is the role of technology in the teaching process? I want from you to answer these questions in this way to accomplish the goal of cooperative learning. Hope you discover many new things in this subject :-D
