Hello Everyone!
Unfortunately we are reaching the end because this is the 10-th week that we have been writing in our blog. For this week everyone of us has to keep some kind of a journal in order to put the steps in a chronological order. For those who hasn't finished with the project is very helpful, because they can establish the order they want to follow during their teaching. I think it is great because it is some kind of a diary that teachers keep always to plan their lesson. Before we start with teaching we need to clarify the objectives for our class, also to plan different exercises to reveal if they were following us during the explanation. As I have mentioned it we had to teach a part of grammar that is why we used different tools, starting with the blackboard and then with the emaze a great application which made our project more interesting. Teaching includes different elements because you have different characters in the class and you have to manage any kind of situation. That's why I think it is a thick line between what is said in theory and what is done in practice.

ReplyDeletePlease, stop mentioning us about the end we are reaching. We are not just reaching the end of this subject, but more than that. Starting from March, April etc, this is the last time we are part of the Faculty, indeed. Next year this time we are going to deal with the "Practice", so please, for the sake of God, let us enjoy this period without mentioning that "end" part. :D
I totally agree with you! The journal is going to be great because we have to make a conclusion of what we have done so far theoretically and practically by including different elements.

I just finished writing my piece of journal and I feel better that my thoughts are somewhere organized in a piece of paper, because I had to do a lot o self reflection about this part of the assignment. Nevertheless, I found this process quite helpful for our future professional lives.
ReplyDeleteKeeping a journal really helps us in organizing our lesson better. It is necessary to see what's gone wrong and what needs improvement. What has been said in theory, should be taught through practice using different elemens, including here new tools of technology.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with you on the fact that the teacher need to clarify the objectives at the beginning of the class in order for students to know what to do. This task really helped us a lot.

Hi Besa, unfortunately we are reaching the end of the subject because it is helping us a lot to become better teachers in the future. But, of course I think that practice changes from theory ,but it's up to us how we will put the theory into practice.All the best!
